National Archives Great Lakes Region – How to Get the Most Out of Your Visit
NARA’s Great Lakes Regional Archives in Chicago has a wealth of genealogical information for family history researchers of all levels. Resources, both onsite and online, can provide new avenues to further your family tree. Onsite Record Collections include hundreds of 20th century city directories not found online, naturalizations, court papers, maritime records and Native American genealogical resources. The National Archives online offer millions of digitized records including photographs, maps, letters and much more. Come discover what the National Archives has to offer the family historian!
