Jennifer Earleywine was born and raised in Peoria and has lived most of her life in the area. She has been researching her family names off and on since she first got into genealogy in the 1990s. She has a few family lines back to the 1700s and 1800s but also have lines that are only a few generations back and is always looking to stretch these lines back further. She also has a few stubbornly missing relatives that, as most genealogists know, are a typical situation. She loves being able to find new information on any of the relatives in her or her husband’s family tree. Jennifer and her husband have done road trips to include visiting out of town cemeteries or cities where her family has been traced to in order to get a picture and/or information on a relative.

Jennifer has been married to Jeff since 1999 and they have a wonderful, active daughter who keeps them on their toes even now when she is away at college. Jennifer currently works for the Illinois Department of Transportation and has been with them for 31 years. She has been involved with many non-profit groups in a variety of capacities over the years. In her spare time, besides genealogy research, Jennifer enjoys doing anything crafty including 3-D printing, Cricut work, 5-d diamond art and especially crocheting. Crafting definitely runs in her family as her mother and both grandmothers heavily influenced this love.
