Using Peoria County Digital Maps to Supplement Your Research

FreeFeaturing Josh Thompson, Peoria County GIS website manager.
Josh Thompson will provide a training session on how to use the Peoria County’s interactive application known as the front desk. The audience will be trained on how to find property tax, property sales, and owner information and the main tools in the application. They will also learn how to use the online document search to find historical plat, deed, and other recorded documents.
Josh has served as the GIS Manager with Peoria County for over 11 years. He has worked in local government for the past 15 years. Josh is currently pursuing a Professional Science Master in Geographic Information Sciences from Eastern Illinois University. He graduated from Illinois State University with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Geography and minor in Environmental Studies.
